Some of the sites below are special demonstration versions of private or limited access sites, which we otherwise wouldn't be able to make available as examples of our work.

Some of the pages use "dummy data" or have some functions disabled in demonstration mode. "Live" sites with real data are indicated with this icon .

• Database Dashboard
  This utility is a generic on-line database management tool which allows users to view and edit the contents of almost any on-line Microsoft Access or SQL-Server database. It dynamically retrieves a list of available database files and tables from the database as well as the structure and contents of the selected table. This program is available, to current GEConsult customers for $130. It's a great tool as is including functions to filter data and export to MS Excel, but it is also highly customizable to meet your special requirements.

• Database Chameleon
  Somewhat similar to the above, but developed in PHP with a MySQL back end. In addition to the functionality of the above application, this one includes back-up and bulk email functions. Please Note: Functions which add, save changes or delete records are disabled in demonstration mode.



• File Access Control System
  Allows users to download or (with the proper access level) upload files. Available files vary based on log in. For demonstration, log in as guest, password: 1234. File upload is not available with guest login.



• RenoufBooks.COM
  A working E-commerce site with enhanced search capabilities, Canadian and US pricing streams and an ASP.NET shopping cart and secure processing check out application. This site is hosted on a dedicated web and database server, set up and managed by GEConsult.com.

• CCPFH
  Fully data driven site for the Canadian Council of Professional Fish Harvesters. All menus and content areas are maintained by an on-line administrative interface to update web-based databases and upload PDF documents. The "site engine" retrieves the labels, tags and content from those databases and dynamically builds the site as it is served up to visitors.

• Document Repository
  Password protected document and link sharing application.



• Hide E-mail addresses from spammers
  Our contact page demonstrates a simple ASP.NET e-mail directory which hides all e-mail addresses on the page when the page loads and provides users with a single button to click in order to reveal the addresses as mailto links. If the page is "spidered" by a spammer it will fail to find any harvestable e-mail addresses -- at least until the spammers come up with spiders clever enough to read the page and click the button. A comparable application is also available in PHP for UNIX/Linux hosted sites.
